Matthew Perry is making some major real estate moves. In July, the Friends star dropped the price on his Los Angeles penthouse from $35 million to $27 million. This luxury penthouse, dubbed "Mansion in the Sky," per the listing, takes up the entire 40th floor of the Century building. Last week, Perry also placed his contemporary Malibu beach house on the market for $14.95 million. Listed with Josh Flagg of Million Dollar Listing, the loft-style home is equipped with glass walls that deliver incredible views of the Pacific Ocean.

With two extravagant homes on the market, you're probably wondering where Perry is currently living (or at least where he may be staying some of the time). As it turns out, the actor quietly purchased a cottage for $6 million last month in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles. Variety initially broke the news, citing sales records, however the sale appeared to be very private as the realtor’s name and agency were omitted. Fortunately, we were able to track down the listing on Trulia, an American home and neighborhood database, which matched the home’s description and photos Variety provided. The Trulia listing reveals the home is located at 18038 Blue Sail Dr. It also shows that it was purchased on August 18, 2020 for $6 million.

Now, while a multi-million dollar property is by no means roughing it, Perry's new space is both smaller and less expensive than his two properties on the market. However, in terms of style, this cottage definitely gets our seal of approval.

Although built in 1965, the home was renovated in 2018 to take on a more contemporary and chic style. Oak floors flow elegantly throughout the open floor plan and new smart features, such as the electronic facial recognition entry system, offer an extra layer of security. When it comes to the master bedroom, there are actually two. Both open up to pergolas.

The home's lush, grassy yard spans 0.37 acres and includes a fire pit and a raised pool that looks out to the ocean. It's definitely a relaxing retreat.
